World Book Day 2017

22 January 2017

World Book Day 2017

The 2nd March 2017 is World Book Day 2017

World Book Day is a celebration! It’s a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and (most importantly) it’s a celebration of reading. In fact, it’s the biggest celebration of its kind, designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, and marked in over 100 countries all over the world.

SPECS network opticians understand that good eye health is crucial if children are to learn to love reading.  Undiagnosed sight problems in children are quite common, and can cause them to struggle with, and even to avoid, reading.

So, in support of World Book Day 2017, we are running two special promotions!

win an iPad

For children aged 5 to 16: Win a £20 book token

Tell us in no more than 50 words what your favourite book is and why. It's quick and easy to enter online - you just need a parent or other adult to confirm you have their permission.

Because 2017 is the 20th World Book Day, we are giving away 20 book tokens each worth £20!
