Sapphire organises regular family eye checks

My family’s wellbeing and healthcare is very important to me, and I take it upon myself to ensure that we attend regular eye examinations as a family. By visiting our local optician together, we get to know the team better and feel relaxed ahead of our appointment.

Depending on our activity or the type of questions we have, we sometimes visit our SPECS network optician alone, but we all prefer to go together. The personal service and friendly atmosphere helps us to look forward to visiting, rather than dreading it.

As you know, we’re quite an active family and participate in lots of different physical activities that can cause harm to our vision. When we visit our nearest SPECS network optician we don’t have to remind them about our sporting background, they have all of our details on record. We receive a really personal and friendly service that gives me and Bruno complete peace of mind.

Whenever any of us need a new pair of spectacles, the rest of us can’t help but giggle as they try on different pairs. We all gather around the mirror while Jade and Gray try frames of all shapes and sizes until they find the pair that best suits their face shape. The dispensing optician is very patient with us and gives us all plenty of advice to ensure that we look after the eyewear properly.

I know that by visiting my nearest SPECS network optician my family’s eye health is in the best care possible. The information, support and aftercare are second to none and they always have the solution to our eyewear requirements, no matter whether we need eyewear for sports, driving or reading.

I think our next family appointment is due soon so I’d best log on to the SPECS network website and find our optician's contact details. Julie, the receptionist, is very polite and always asks how Jade and Gray are getting on at school.
